Compliance teams deserve software that respects their craft.
CompStack is built by engineers who have lived inside real audits, quality leaders who have run multi-site rollouts, and partners who certify against the standards we model.
Compliance was the last spreadsheet stronghold.
Engineering had Git. Sales had Salesforce. Finance had Netsuite. Compliance had folders.
In 2024, our co-founder spent three months helping an East African beverage manufacturer prepare for a KEBS audit. The team was good, three audits passed in five years, but the program was held together by a person and a spreadsheet. Both could disappear in a week, and a year of audit-readiness with them.
We started CompStack because that pattern repeats everywhere. Compliance teams are capable, regulators keep raising the bar, and the tools have not caught up. The work deserves software with the same care that engineering teams expect from their CI.
The answer isn't another portal. It's a platform that turns standards into structured data, links every record to its evidence, and makes the audit trail the side effect of normal work, not a deliverable.
Four principles that shape the product.
Compliance is engineering work
Audit-grade quality is achievable with software discipline, version control, structured data, observable workflows. We build like a platform team, not a consultancy.
Trust is the product
Tenant isolation, segregation of duties, and immutable trails aren't features, they're the floor. Anything we ship sits inside our customers' audit scope.
Human approvals beat automation
AI accelerates compliance, it doesn't run it. Every change passes through a person who can be named in the audit log.
Africa-first, global next
We launched in markets where compliance is hardest, multi-site, multi-scheme, regulator-heavy. The platform that works there works anywhere.
We're hiring builders who care about audit-grade work.
Roles open as we grow. Engineers, ex-IMS managers, and lead auditors all welcome.
