This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on the CompStack marketing site and inside the application.
Plain-English summary
We use a small number of cookies, most for keeping you signed in, a few for product analytics. No third-party advertising cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We also use similar technologies like local storage and session storage. We refer to all of them as “cookies” below for simplicity.
Essential cookies
These are required for the platform to work. They cannot be disabled.
sb-access-token, keeps you signed in.sb-refresh-token, refreshes your session safely.cs-tenant, remembers which tenant you’re working in if you have access to several.
Analytics cookies
We use first-party analytics to understand how the platform is used. We use Plausible · a privacy-friendly analytics service that doesn’t use cookies for tracking across sites. On the marketing site we additionally use Google Analytics 4 in cookieless mode.
You can opt out by setting Do Not Track in your browser; we honor it on the marketing site.
Third-party content
We don’t embed advertising trackers. We do embed a small number of third-party components (e.g., Google Fonts) which may set their own cookies, see the relevant provider’s policy for details.
How to control cookies
You can clear or block cookies via your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will sign you out and may break parts of the application.
For analytics specifically, you can also opt out by emailing privacy@compstack.io.
Changes
We update this page as our analytics stack changes. Material changes are notified inside the application.
